CONSTELLAR

The founder

William Boudy

Fifteen years industrialising other people’s IT. Constellar came out of what he saw there.

The number that started it

At Capgemini, the artificial intelligence application he deployed transformed seven roles in a team of fifteen. Seven people who stopped sorting incidents and started doing the work actually expected of them. It is that shift — not the technology enabling it — that Constellar sets out to reproduce.

How it runs, not just the tool

A qualified information systems manager (French RNCP level 1 title, École Aston), he has carried the full load: budgets of up to one million euros, project teams of around fifteen people, architecture trade-offs, compliance requirements, service continuity.

What interests him first is not the tool but the whole picture: where each piece of information comes from, who needs it, when, and what it costs to produce. It is from that three-hundred-and-sixty-degree view that sound infrastructure decisions come — the ones that answer an established need rather than a fashion.

Everything else follows: a master plan that says where you are going and in what order, a strategy aligned with business objectives rather than with a vendor’s catalogue, and solutions sized for the organisation as it actually is — its scale, its market, its means. A thirty-person organisation does not need the architecture of a thirty-thousand-person group, and the reverse does not hold either.

That is where Constellar’s way of working comes from. You do not ship a tool and hope it holds: you answer for what it does once in production, and you know what to do when it stops doing it.
